For five generations, Smith & Munson has been known as tulip and lily specialists. But for years, our customers asked us for one thing: Peonies.

 

Ed spent years researching the finest varieties to ensure we could offer an extraordinary selection of colours and textures across the entire season; from early bloomers to late-season showstoppers.

 

Patiently Grown, Proudly Harvested

 

• Autumn 2022: The story began in the field right next to our farm, where we planted our very first peony roots and began the long, patient wait.

 

• Spring 2025: After three years of careful nurturing, we celebrated our very first harvest.

 

• Expanded to 15 Acres: We loved our initial crops so much that we expanded our fields in November 2025.

 

Now, with 15 acres under cultivation, we’re preparing for even more exclusive varieties set to bloom from our newest fields in 2028—and we promise, they will be well worth the wait!

Peony season is short, sweet, and fleeting; spanning just six short weeks each year.

Our family and incredible farm team take immense pride and care in harvesting every single stem at the perfect soft-bud stage, bringing you the freshest, highest-quality British peonies delivered straight from our fields to your home.
